All things November

So I have made it a goal for next year to do better at blogging so that makes me feel not so bad for being such a slacker this year. We had a very busy month, but since it was a month ago I can't really remember all that we did, so I will just hit on the things I remember. My wonderful grandpa Gordon passed away. It is always such a tough time when someone you care for dies but I am so grateful for the gospel and knowledge that we will see him again. He was a such a amazing person and will be greatly missed. We celebrated my grandma Rosaline's 80th birthday. She is such a amazing lady, I love her so much and am so grateful that she is still here and kickin'. Here she is with all of her great-grandkids from the Jerry Hall family. We had the opportunity to go and spend Thanksgiving week in Washington, which was so much fun! We not only got to spend time with Dustin's family but also we saw pretty much all the Killian's and Blazzards as well. It was so wonderful to be able to see people I haven't seen for so long and spend time with them. And Dustin's favorite part of the trip was being able to play some backyard football. And to end off a busy and great month Destry and Riley had their beautiful baby girl. Vyla Leigh Killian is so beautiful and we are so grateful to be able to live close enough to get to see her and watch her grow. I am so grateful for cousins close by so that Archer can spend time with family.

Happy Halloween!!!!!

So to finish off the first and spookiest holiday we had a fun full weekend. First we went to Hocus Pocus at Hemming Village, where Archer and Dustin took a hay ride and we stared enjoying the spooky holiday. After a quick break and nap we headed to Idaho Falls to hit up Boo at the Zoo. It was so fun to see Archer get excited about the animals. He would grip the cages and pull so that his little face was poking through the holes. Super funny. Then Destry had a Halloween party on Sunday that we as a family went to as a white trash or a trailer trash family. It was a repeat costume for me and Dustin, but Archer was the cutest and funniest part with his little stash and mullet. Then we ended the off on Halloween night doing some Trick or Treating. Archer was a little hesitant ar first, but when he realized that the scary strangers were passing out candy he started to say thank you and smiling at them. All in all it was a very happy Halloween! (Archer walked around Walmart wearing these, he would not take them off!)

Happy Fall Yall!

I love the fall! The trees start changing, it smells so good, and it's the beginging of the most wonderful time of the year! The first holiday: Halloween! So this year instead of just picking out a pumpkin at the grocery store we decided to go to a pumpkin patch. It was so fun! Next we had a carving party which Archer was not really interested in but hopefully next year. Dustins was the best again, no suprise there. I then got together with Destry to try to be crafty and make pumkin faces out of jars. I am actually really proud of the finished product. I love holidays!!! As a side note Archer has found his nostrils which is hilarious. How am I suppose to teach him its gross to put your fingers in your nose when it is so cute! Also his hair is starting tostay curly rather than just be that way when he is in the tub. I love it!!!

So Blessed

So I really have nothing new to post, our lives are pretty much the same everyday, but it really hit me the other day how incredible blessed I am in my life. I have a wonderful husband, who go's to work and school both full-time everyday, which is not at all fun for him, but does it so that I can stay at home with our family. I have a handsome little boy who may sometimes drive me a little on the nutty side, keeps me smiling and laughing everyday. We live in a beautiful area close to both members of our families. And I have the gospel in my life, which I don't know what I would do without. Blessing are all around me, I just need to look past the boogers, diaper rash, and dirty house to find them! Here are some pictures of what Archer and I have been up to the last couple of weeks. We went to my parent's house and Archer found the cookie rack and thought it was the greatest thing ever.

He love's eating corn on the cob, he would eat the cob if we let him.

Who say's boy's can't play dress-up.

Archer love's sitting at the computer and listening to his pirate song and watching videos and slideshows of pictures, he can do it for hours.

Better late than never......

So I just wanted to give a quick shout out to Dustin. We celebrated our 3 year anniversary on the 12th and since it takes me like months to blog things, I suppose it is better late than never. Over three years ago I married my best friend. It was one of the happiest days of my life and the best decision that I ever made. Dustin is a wonderful father, husband, and man in general. He makes me laugh everyday, and makes me truely feel so special. He is a gentleman and a big softey at heart. The last three years have been awesome and I can't wait to spend many more with him. I love you Dustin!!!.

One last shabang!

So sadly for me to say, for us the summer is over. Dustin started school monday, and is going full time there and also full time at work. It is sad to think that it is already passed but we had a lot of fun times and did a lot of fun things. And I cannot tell a lie, I absolutely love love LOVE fall. So goodbye summer, filled with your swimming, grilling, reunions, and heat. And hello fall, filled with holidays, projects, goodies, and did I say HOLIDAYS!!!! So to end the summer off, we had out Hall reunion, and it was a blast! We kept on with tradition and camped out in my parents back yard, had a movie on the shed, played games, but this year we had a Family Fun Run and the guys went paintballing (Dustin was so excited). Even though it is just over night it was still so fun to hang out with family.

And to end the weekend off, for Labor Day this year we decided to go to the Blackfoot Fair. It was nice to spend the day with family and friends and also eat some delicious food!

Also we got Archer's 1 year pictures taken by none other than the fantastic Katy! They turned out so cute! Thank you so so so much Katy!
